FREE SHIPPING
As a thanks to our customers, we are happy to include free shipping via UPS Ground on all domestic orders. We realize that sometimes it's a rush so if you need your order sooner please select the express shipping option provided at checkout.

Shipping Schedule
Orders placed during weekday hours are processed within 24 hours.
Orders placed during weekend hours are processed the following business day.

International Orders
We ship all international orders ship via US Postal Service for a flat fee. Shipping to Canada is $10. Shipping to all other countries is $30. Please note that due to varying international postage rules we cannot pay for return shipping on international orders and any additional duties, taxes, fees or VAT are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Free & Easy Returns
Want to return your Ernest Alexander purchase? You may return any unused items purchased within 30 days for a refund.  We offer FREE exchanges and returns on all domestic orders.  To initiate the return/exchange process simply:

  1. Send an email to orders@ernestalexander.com with your name and order number
  2. Use the prepaid return label we email you to send the item back to us
  3. Receive your refund as soon as we receive the returned item. 

If you are looking to exchange an item please follow the steps above to initial a return and place a new order with us on our website.

Please note that refund processing times vary according to your bank and payment method but typically take about 3-5 business days..

International Returns
You may return/exchange any unused, unworn, undamaged items purchased within 30 days for a full refund.  Due to varying international postage regulations we cannot provide any prepaid or complimentary services for returns or exchanges on international orders.  Any additional duties, taxes, fees, or VAT are the sole responsibility of the customer.  To return an international order please ship your package to:

Refurbishment & Repair 

We pride ourselves on crafting our line with finest quality and skill. However, we understand that things can happen: a piece of hardware pops off, fabric tears, or an accidental stain suddenly appears in the worst possible spot!

Ernest Alexander New York offers a one-year guarantee on damages that are the result of a manufacturer's defect. We offer free two-way shipping for any items of this nature.

All other repairs, alternations and modifications are subject to a servicing fee that will be calculated after your item has been received at our studio.  In this case, please note that shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.  To initiate a repair please:

  1. Send an email to orders@ernestalexander.com with your name, order number (if available), and repair required (feel free to email a picture if necessary).
  2. Receive and complete the "Repair Service Request Form" and a prepaid UPS label (where applicable) via email.
  3. Ship the item back to us using your prepaid return label (applicable for manufacturer defected pieces only) or via the shipping provider of your choice.  Please enclose the "Repair Service Request Form" with you package.
  4. Receive the repaired item approximately 1-2 weeks later good as new!

4. Where do you manufacture your goods?

We manufacture all of our line right here in the USA, In fact our main workshop is located 2 blocks from our design studio in NYC’s Garment District. We are deeply committed to ethical manufacturing practices. Manufacturing locally helps us ensure the quality of our line and it supports our local economy. It’s always nice to know by name the people who make or fine bags, shirts, ties and small accessories. To learn more about our philosophy please visit the About section of our site.

5. How do I get an item repaired?

Things can happen. A bag gets scraped or shirt gets snagged; we’ve got you covered.  If you spill cranberry juice all over your crisp white oxford, well there might be only so much we can do.

We strive for excellence in the quality of our manufacturing. If for some reason the repair is due to a defect in our workmanship we will gladly provide free return shipping for the repair. We assume our customers will be gentlemanly about our policy.

How do you protect my information?

All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, social security numbers, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
